This website is operated by Wategos Ventures Pty Ltd (ACN 692 088 921, ABN 87 692 088 921), trading as Rovelet. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to what follows.

Our products are consumer goods, not medical devices

This matters more than anything else on this page, so it goes first.

Rovelet sells one product: the Rovelet, a sunrise alarm clock with a sleep sound machine. It is a general consumer product. It is not a therapeutic good, it is not a medical device, and it is not registered or listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

Nothing on this site — product descriptions, specifications, or any other content — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment for any condition. We describe what the product does physically. We do not claim it treats, cures, prevents or alleviates any illness, disorder or condition, and you should not read it that way.

If you have a health concern about your sleep, talk to a doctor. Do not substitute a product bought here for medical advice, and do not stop or change any treatment on the strength of anything you read on this site.

Product information and specifications

Technical specifications on this site — light, sound, timer range, dimensions, materials — are supplied to us by the manufacturer. We publish them as given and attribute them as the supplier's figures. We do not independently test or verify them, and we do not round them up.

Where a measurement depends on conditions, we publish those conditions with it, because a figure without them is not meaningful. We make a genuine effort to describe the product accurately, but we do not warrant that every supplier-provided specification is error-free.

Colours and finishes may vary slightly from the photographs, since screens differ.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Prices can change without notice, but a change never affects an order already placed.

Shipping is a flat US$8 per order to any destination, or a flat A$8 within Australia, added at checkout and shown in your own currency. Import duties and taxes levied by your own country are not included and are your responsibility.

Payment is taken at checkout. We do not store your card details — payments are processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal and the wallet providers shown at checkout, under their own terms.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch the goods, and the contract forms then.

We may refuse or cancel an order — including one already paid for — where a product is unavailable, where a price or description was published in error, where we cannot ship to your address, or where we suspect fraud. If we do, we refund you in full and promptly. That is the extent of our liability for a cancelled order.

We may limit quantities per person or per order.

Shipping and returns

Delivery timeframes, tracking and delivery problems are covered in our Shipping Policy. Refunds, returns and your Australian Consumer Law rights are covered in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Using this site

You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security, to scrape or harvest data from it, or to transmit malicious code. We may terminate your access for breaching these terms.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order.

Intellectual property

The Rovelet name, the content of this site, and its design are ours or used under licence. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.

Liability

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here limits those rights or any other right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited, at our option, to replacing the product, supplying an equivalent, or refunding what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

This site and its content are provided as they are. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that governs that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
